The Assisted Living At Home Program allows seniors to receive supportive services in their own home, even if they do not have family living close by.
Dreisin Eldercare is available locally to undertake tasks which family members would normally perform. Steven Dreisin has advanced degrees in the fields of Gerontology and Public Health Administration as well as certification in care management.
Our first step is to make a comprehensive assessment, identify problem areas, and then take immediate steps to stabilize the situation. A Plan of Care is written up, summarizing the situation and identifying options to achieve the frail senior's well-being while respecting his or her desire for independence and dignity as best as possible.
The Care Manager makes periodic visits. We can visit once a week, twice a month or once a month, depending on the needs of the individual. We remain in touch by phone. We perform spot inspections. We provide reports to the family. We are available throughout the week to coordinate needed services. |
